Junior Achievement 2025/26 Scholarship Application (Educational Institution)
  • Junior Achievement 2025/26 Scholarship Application

This application must be completed by an administrator or an authorized representative from the institution’s finance department.
  • Invitation to Participate

We are excited to invite your institution to participate in the Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania K–11 scholarship application process for the 2025–2026 school year. The application period is open from March 3, 2026, through April 18, 2026, with scholarship payouts scheduled for Spring 2027 (January 15th), applicable to the 2026–2027 school year.

These scholarships are funded through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. They are designed to provide financial assistance to qualified students, and we encourage your institution to apply on behalf of eligible students.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Your institution must comply with all requirements outlined in this application.
    • Participation in the Junior Achievement programs specified in this application is mandatory.
    • Students must meet the eligibility requirements established by the EITC and OSTC programs.

    Important Information:

    •  Institutions are responsible for selecting students who best meet the established qualifications.
    • Selection decisions may take into account participation and performance in Junior Achievement programs, along with any additional criteria outlined in the student’s JA Funding Request Form. This approach prioritizes students who demonstrate strong academic commitment and active engagement in JA programming.
    • Institutions must ensure that students applying for the JA Scholarship complete the required JA lessons by coordinating their own JA volunteers or facilitating teacher-led instruction.
    • Institutions must direct all eligible students to the JA Western PA Scholarships website to review available scholarship opportunities and submit their applications.

Please Note: Submission of this application is required for funding consideration; however, completion does not guarantee a scholarship award.

Funding decisions will be based on institutional qualifications, student eligibility, and other applicable criteria.

By participating, your institution supports the ongoing success of Junior Achievement programs and helps provide students with the tools and resources they need to prepare for future opportunities.

If you are a new educational institution applying for funding, you will be required to implement JA programming beginning in the Fall 2026 school year.

    Timeline*:

  • Declaration and Submission

  • By checking this box and submitting this form, I confirm that the information provided is accurate. I understand that funding requests are evaluated based on Junior Achievement (JA) program participation and other relevant criteria.

I also understand that, if funding is awarded, my institution will be responsible for selecting student recipients from the completed JA Funding Request forms submitted by the April 18th deadline. A list of selected students and awarded amounts must be provided to JA upon request.

Students will be submitting JA Funding Request forms as part of their scholarship application. It is important that your institution assign a staff member to coordinate the collection of these forms and ensure they are submitted to the appropriate department for scholarship review.
