    JA Stock Market Challenge® presented by Citizens

  • Please note that each volunteer must complete and submit their own individual registration form. Be sure to go through the entire JotForm and submit it at the end.

  • Event Details

    Day 1: Tuesday, December 15, 2026 Day 2: Wednesday, December 16, 2026 Location: Duquesne University Power Center

  • Volunteer Overview

  • Volunteers will be trained as one of the following:

    • Traders: Each trader will be responsible for buying and selling stock for 3-4 teams, using tablets provided by JA.
    • Printers: At the printing desks, volunteers will be live printing student progress reports throughout the competition. 
    • Runners: Runners will help distribute the newsletters and alerts to teams as they come up throughout the simulation. 
    • Floaters: Floaters will be trained as additional floor traders but may also be asked to assist in other ways during the day.

    Please note: Traders and Runners should be prepared to move quickly and remain on their feet throughout the morning.

    All volunteers will receive a comprehensive event timeline outlining the day's expectations. Please arrive for mandatory volunteer training at 9:00 AM, with light breakfast and coffee available. Training will promptly begin at 9:15 AM, followed by the simulation start at 10:00 AM. Volunteers are expected to remain on-site until the simulation concludes at approximately 11:30 AM, though they are welcome to stay for the event's conclusion and the announcement of the winners.


    Further information regarding volunteer roles will be sent out to those who register closer to the day of the event.
