  • Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania is excited to host both days of the 2027 JA Empower Her Summit!

    We again will be offering two dates this year. Students may attend either day:

     

    JA Empower Her Summit presented by PPG

    Date: Friday, March 5, 2027

    Time: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Program begins at 9:00 AM

    Location: Duquesne University; Pittsburgh, PA

     

    JA Empower Her Summit: Northwest

    Date: Friday, March 12, 2027

    Time: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Program begins at 9:00 AM

    Location: Penn State Behrend; Erie, PA

     

    JA Empower Her Summit is an engaging leadership and life development workshop designed exclusively for high school girls from western PA and northern WV.

    This event features interactive sessions focused on building essential career-preparation skills. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with inspiring female leaders and engage in meaningful conversations about personal and professional success.

    By the end of the day, attendees will walk away with practical tools to confidently navigate their futures while exploring their passions, recognizing their potential, and embracing their inner power.

  • NEW THIS YEAR!!

    Students will experience a taste of college life with their own rotating class schedule, featuring 5 of 13 workshops designed to help them build valuable skills based on their interests!

    This year's workshops will allow for interactive games, small group discussions, mentorship, and more.

    As part of this registration form, you’ll select at least 7 workshop topics you’re interested in exploring. The JA team will use your preferences to build your personalized schedule, doing our best to match you with your top choices while considering room capacities and registration order.

    Your personalized class schedule will be provided when you arrive at the event.
